Known as a jack-of-all trades in the furniture manufacturing industry, Bold Companies looked to Concept A to help position it within the marketplace and promote its custom capability offering to architects and designers.
Concept A worked closely with Bold to rediscover and refine its mission. This transformation led to a naming shift that better expressed the company’s purpose. With our help, Bold Furniture is becoming known as an industry leader that solves complex design problems through custom solutions.

We created a new identity that incorporated soft edges to represent their custom capabilities, and contrasted those with hard edges to convey precision. A shift to all uppercase typography creates a bold statement for the company.

Working with Bold, we developed a dynamic tool that showcases the flexibility of the company’s One Collection desk. Using this industry-leading configurator, designers can explore options for aesthetics and functionality and create downloadable proposals for clients.
Specialty Booklet
This print piece highlights Bold’s unique capabilities, blending design commentary, realistic photography, and informative product detail to elevate the high quality and craft of Bold’s manufacturing approach.
Photography
We created two aesthetics for Bold’s photography: bright environmental product photos and editorial shots of the manufacturing facility. These authentic photos capture Bold’s unique, problem solving approach and ability to produce any design.
